Orders
How to split an order
Some guests want their own bill, or part of the group moved to another table? Pick their items and split them into a new order — everyone pays for what they had.
You need: an order with at least 2 items, and a free table to put the split items on.
Step 1: Open the order and tap Split Order
Open the table's order and tap Split Order on the left. The order needs at least 2 items.
- 1Split Order.
Step 2: Tick the items, choose a table, tap Split Order
Tick the items that go on the separate bill, choose the table for them, then tap Split Order.
- 1Tick each item to move — here Chicken Satay…
- 2…and Iced Khmer Coffee.
- 3Move to Table — choose a free table (here 10).
- 4Tap Split Order.
- 5Select All Items ticks everything at once (you must leave at least one item behind).
Step 3: Two separate bills
The chosen items are now a new order on the other table, ready to be paid on their own. The original table keeps the rest.
- 1New order on table 10.
- 2Its own total: $9.00. The original order went from $31.25 to $22.25.
- 3A note shows it was split from another order.
Order split
There are now two separate orders. Open each table and take payment as usual.
Common questions
Can I move all the items?
No — at least one item must stay. To move everything, use Change / Join Table.
The table I want is not in the list
Only free tables are shown. If the guests are joining a table that already has an order, split to a free table first, then merge the two orders.
Is anything sent to the kitchen again?
No. Items that were already sent stay sent; splitting only moves them to another bill.
I split the wrong items
Use Merge to combine the two orders back into one, then split again.
