How to add tables and arrange your floor plan
Set up your tables once and staff will always know where each guest is sitting. Add every table with its number and area, then drag them into place so the Tables screen looks just like your restaurant.
Before you start: write down your table numbers and which area each one is in (for example Main Hall, Terrace, VIP). A quick sketch of your room helps when you arrange the floor plan.
Part 1Add a table
Step 1: Open Settings → Table Management
On the home screen tap the gear icon (top right) to open Settings, then tap Table Management on the left.
- 1Table Management.
- 2Tap + Add Table.
Step 2: Fill in the table details
Fields with a * are required.
- 1Table Number * — what staff and guests see, e.g. 13, VIP-1, Bar 2.
- 2Category * — the area the table is in (Main Hall, Terrace, Outdoor…). Choose + New category… to create a new area.
- 3Seating Capacity — number of seats.
- 4Table Discount (optional) — an automatic discount on every bill at this table, e.g. for staff tables. Leave on No discount for normal tables.
Step 3: Choose the furniture and tap Save Table
Pick how the table looks on the floor plan. The seating capacity is suggested for you.
- 1Table furniture — round, square, lounge, booth, umbrella and more.
- 2Custom furniture image (optional) — upload your own picture, e.g. a sofa or a plant.
- 3Decorative only — for plants, walls, a bar counter or other decor. It shows on the floor plan but cannot be opened as a table.
- 4Tap Save Table.
Step 4: The table is added
Your new table appears in the list under its category. Repeat for every table in your restaurant.
- 1The new table 13 on the Terrace, 4 seats.
- 2QR code — print the table's QR so guests can order from their phone.
- 3Edit — change the number, category, seats or furniture.
- 4Delete — only possible when the table has no open bill.
- 5Upload floor plan (optional) — a picture of your room as the background for that area.
Tip: add all your tables first, then arrange them in one go. Use the same table numbers as the signs on your real tables.
Part 2Arrange your floor plan
Step 5: Open Tables and choose an area
Go back to the home screen and tap Tables. Tap the area you want to arrange (here Terrace). New tables start lined up at the top.
- 1Tap the area tab. Layouts are edited per area — not on All Tables.
- 2New tables are lined up in a row, ready to be placed.
Step 6: Tap an empty spot 3 times to unlock
The floor plan is locked so staff never move tables by accident. To edit it, quickly tap an empty part of the floor 3 times. An orange bar appears.
- 1Tap 3 times quickly on an empty spot.
- 2Editing layout — tap & hold to move: you can now move tables.
- 3Lock — tap when you are finished.
Step 7: Tap & hold a table, then drag it
Tap and hold a table for a moment until it lifts, then drag it to its place. Guide lines help you line tables up. When a table is selected, its controls appear:
- 1Tap & hold the table and drag it to move.
- 2− / + — make it smaller or bigger.
- 3Rotate 15° left or right, or 90°.
- 4Drag to rotate freely.
- 5Blue corner — drag to resize (e.g. a long table for 10).
Every change is saved automatically as soon as you let go — there is no Save button.
Step 8: Lock the floor plan
When everything is in place, tap Lock on the orange bar (or tap an empty spot 3 times again). It also locks by itself after 2 minutes without changes. Staff can now tap tables to take orders as usual.
- 1Tables turned 45° to fit the room.
- 2Each area keeps its own layout — repeat for Main Hall and your other areas.
Your floor plan is ready
Your tables are set up and arranged. Staff tap a table on the Tables screen to start an order, and its colour shows whether it is free or in use.
